About Me

Writing at the intersection of systems, faith, and resilience

I am Zebedee Njisuh Feka — a systems thinker, author, and resilience architect shaped by lived experience across Africa and Europe, and by work at the front lines of environmental governance and human wellbeing. My writing emerges where personal struggle, institutional design, and spiritual meaning intersect.

Through research, field leadership, and storytelling, I explore the invisible systems that shape human lives — cultural, ecological, and spiritual. My work blends environmental science, faith, and narrative to help readers understand the architecture beneath pain, purpose, and transformation.

I write to help people see clearly — to translate complexity into comprehension, and understanding into the courage to rebuild lives, communities, and futures with intention.

Sweet Words from Readers

I don't usually leave reviews but this deserved one. There's a scene early on with a body tangled in an old pier that still pops into my head randomly, weeks later. That's the mark of a book doing its job I think. Ending felt a little rushed compared to the build up but I'll still be recommending this to my book club.

Took me a chapter or two to get used to the dual timeline but once it clicked I couldn't put it down. There's real anger in this book, about how Black women's health gets dismissed, and it comes through without ever feeling preachy. Not a light read by any means but an important one.

Dense in places, I'll admit — you need to actually pay attention or you'll lose track of which reality you're in. But if you're the kind of reader who liked Dark or Devs, this is right up your street. "Observer Rule 7" is such a simple idea on paper and it completely reframes the whole book once you get what it means.

Ok this one messed with my head in the best way. Getting texts from your future self should not work as a plot device but somehow it does here. The countdown chapter structure (T-72, T-66 etc) had me genuinely anxious in a good way, like I needed to know what happens at T-0. Read it in basically one weekend.
